Following the appointment of Redwheel as new managers of the Temple Bar portfolio in October 2020, we have this year been reviewing the trust’s visual identity, to ensure that it is an accurate reflection of what the Trust stands for and the purpose it serves for its current and future investors.
Today, we reveal the outcome of that identity project, with a new logo and a refreshed website. The new logo retains its link to the Trust’s proud history and pedigree by incorporating architectural elements of the original Temple Bar structure, the only surviving gateway to the City of London and a prominent feature of our previous logo. The arches and round windows of the Temple Bar gate, which is believed to have been designed by Sir Christopher Wren and now resides in Paternoster Square, London, now form the basis of the Trust’s new mark, which has a modern, open and progressive feel that reflects our core values.
The new logo is accompanied by a fresh and dynamic colour palette and font choice, that provides a platform from which we can fulfil our commitment to keeping you informed through transparent and thoughtful communication.
Although the logo has been updated and the website has been given a new look and feel, nothing else changes. Our portfolio managers, Ian Lance and Nick Purves continue to deploy a disciplined and sustainable value approach to investing and are resolutely focused on capturing the significant long-term opportunity that currently exists in UK value stocks.
Meanwhile, Temple Bar remains committed to a long-term approach and to delivering responsible investment through active stewardship.
We hope you will join us for the exciting journey that lies ahead.
